In March 2015 a group of students from Murcia decided to run a massive social media action to promote the most tasty and representative tapa from Murcia: the popular “marinera”. For that purpose, they created the hashtag #telalamarinera in Twitter, a Facebook page and event and also a blog.

Everybody could join them in this promotional activity and sent a meme or a video with the marinera as theme. The more, the merrier!

Cultural Marketing wanted to contribute expanding the popularity of our most beloved tapa with the video that you can find below.
